Course Outline

In order to become an NRA Instructor,
Instructor Candidates must complete both:

  1. BIT (Basic Instructor Training)
  2. NRA PPITH Instructor Training

This course includes both parts.


*NOTE: NRA Personal Protection Inside The Home (PPITH) AND NRA Pistol Instructor are prerequisites for this course.
Proof of certification must be provided.


**If you have not already completed PPITH,
The CCW School holds a PPITH class a few days before the
NRA PPITH Instructor Course
.

The NRA Pistol Instructor Course is also offered several times throughout the year.

  • Teaching PPITH Lesson 3- Firearms and the Law, Possession, Ownership, and the Use of Deadly Force
  • Teaching PPITH Lesson 4- Strategies for Home Safety and Responding to a Violent Confrontation
  • Teaching PPITH Lesson 5- Selecting a Pistol for Self Defense
  • Teaching PPITH Lesson 6- Sport Shooting Activities and Training Opportunities
  • Teaching PPITH Lesson 7- Course Review & Examination and Course Conclusion

REFUND POLICY


A NRA Instructor Course is a significant investment of time and money - not only for the participant, but also for the hosts and instructors.
Courses fill fast, and unexpected cancellations greatly strain our program.
Therefore, we have a strict refund policy.
If you have enrolled in a NRA Instructor Course and later cannot make it,
please contact us immediately.

CANCELATIONS:

  • 30+ days before class: Full Refund
  • 10+ days before class: Full refund minus $50 deposit. (ex. $200 class - $50)
  • <10 days (240 hrs) before class: No Refunds, *rescheduling is an option pending availability.
  • <3 days (72 hrs) before class: No Refunds (this includes cancelations due to not completing/passing BoPS)

*RESCHEDULING:

  • Rescheduling is an option pending availability.
  • Additional $50 deposit required if original class was canceled <10 days before class.

  • NO REFUNDS
