CCW LIVE-FIRE DATES
All CCW applicants (both Initial and Renewals) are required to complete in-person live-fire training and qualification.
This is to be completed AFTER the Online Course and Final Exam are completed.

APPROVED TRAINING PROVIDER
Penal Code sections 26150 and 26155 specify that license
applicants must complete a course of training
acceptable to the licensing authority.
Our INITIAL CCW COURSE and RENEWAL CCW COURSE have been approved by OCSD, LASD, myCCW.us and several other issuing agencies. All CCW courses comply with California State CCW requirements for initial and renewal applications.
All CCW instructors at The CCW School are
CCW DOJ Certified Instructors.
INITIAL CCW COURSE TOPICS
The INITIAL CCW COURSE course covers a wide variety of topics relating to
carrying concealed, including, but not limited to, firearms safety, tactical
considerations, live fire drills/qualification and the laws regarding the permissible use of a firearm. The course is 16 hours.
